woooooooooooooooooooooooooo, ok i rock :) i just played the ultimate trick on my mother, basically, i found out my ID4 dvd has a hidden menu where you can access the news reports they play in the background during the film, well one of the news reports is done by sky news which is a news channel we get here, so what i did was when she went to get a drink, put the dvd on that scene and call to my mother that there was some shit going down in russia, so in she runs and sees an alien craft breaking through the clouds on the news in russia and wide spread panic, with all the sky logos on screen etc. hehe i had her thinking there was an alien invasion!!!!!!

ok, so its been a while since i've updated my journal, well i'm going to have a good old rant about the new Harry Potter movie, not that its bad at all far from it, but some people have been saying things about it that i don't agree with and some have been saying the quite absurd, so im going to do a Q&A type thing here, bare with me.
The film wasn't as good as the book, they missed loads out!
Well how often is a film as good as the book, they have to work with finite ammount of screen time and 2 and a half hours is long for a movie anyhow, scenes had to be cut or trimmed or reshaped, but if they wished to fit in everything that was in the book the film could have been possibly 6 or 7 hours long. Which would have been a length of movie that no theatre would have wanted to have shown as a 6 hours long they would have only had effectively half as many screenings of a very popular movie a day. Also it may be slightly different from the book, however everyone imagines things differently, how people look etc, and this was one persons vision of it, if that doesnt go with what your vision was, well thats the beauty of books your visions are personal to you, and taylored the way you like things.
This film should be banned since it portrays wizardy and witchcraft which are tools of the devil!
ok ermmmm are we in the year 1600 and no one told me??????? the group of people saying this are religious people, mainly christian ones, and all power to them, everyone is entitled to their beliefs. BUT many of these people are boycotting this film trying to get it banned, the same with the books saying it promotes the devil to kids????? well i have seen this film and ermm there is no mention of the devil in it, granted there is good and evil, but there is good and evil in life everywhere every day, and this is a FANTASY movie, about a boy who becomes a wizard, whats wrong with that??? there is no committing sin in the film, nothing that breaks any of the ten commandments that i could see? if you are to boycott this film then you need to boycott any film that features magic or wonder or the unknown in it, some choices you may wish to attack are, any of the starwars films - all the jedi knights have powers and a different religion.
Willow - a film that features wizards and witches about good triumphing over evil.
Lord Of The Rings - well this film will have a lot of mentioning of wizards and magical powers in it, so this had better be on the list too .
So basically if you boycott harry potter the movie and the book etc, then you have to boycott any movie that features magic in it. Whats wrong with there being a sense of wonder in the world???? Its a film let people enjoy it for that!

So heres an update from the last post,
i got a call early the next morning from the consultant in the hospital saying could i come back in rather urgently please, i had my mother drive me straight over to the hostpital only to find out that, i had done some real damage to my foot and would need immediate surgery to correct it! dont you just love a nice phone call to start off the day, so what i found out i had done is dislocated the main bone on the left hand side of my left foot and factured several of the surrounding bones.
So off i went to sugery, this started off by being told that i would need a series of injections in my spine to paralizye me, so i had about 8 or 9 in my spine which really fucking hurt, i was then put to sleep and had the performed the procedure on me, which consisted of them using wire to reattach the part of my foot back again, So now my leg is in a special cast with straps around it to keep it tight and i have a lump of wire in my left foot, i've been told by the doctor it will be about 6-8 weeks before the cast can come off then i was also told that i may have to learn how to walk again using that foot, so all in all a pretty shitty time!

Hey gang,
so what happened to me today, well about 4 hours or so ago i got back from the ER i had a little accident, so lets work out where i guess about 4.30 i decided to go into our attic to get some stuff out (as we store stuff there), well my father had fitted a new ladder to get up there, but he didnt attach it to a strong enough piece of wood or the recommended type, infact it was only bolted down about 5mm into some mdf and it really needed like inch long bolts all the way through, so as i was climbing the ladder i got just about to the top to hear some wood creaking/breaking and the supports with the metal legs few up at me.
They didnt hit me though as they were attached to the ladder, but these supports kept the ladder at the angle it was supposed to be at and what happened was on its eye groove it spun under with me holding on then when it was horizontal with the ceiliing on the other side it slid off the bars and i fell 8ft onto the solid tile covered concrete floor with a very heavy loft ladder ontop of me, which rather hurt a large ammount, but little did i know at the time i was falling my foot was caught in the ladder, i managed to get the strength in my arms to throw the ladder off me but i hurt myself quite nicely. nothing is broken though, so i got taken to the ER by my father, after all the x-rays, i've come out of this with a bruised back, a sore neck, a lump on my head, sore arms with some cuts on them and my left ankle which isnt broken however but what i've done according to the doctors is i've very badly sprained, bruised and overstretched all the tendons, muscles and ligaments in my foot, which means currently it hurts a lot and im on pain killers, its swollen to like double its size, i cant walk on it and i'll be on crutches for a few weeks at least!
what an absolutely great day!

so......
i keep saying this that i will be a more regular updater of my journal, god things are boring at the moment,
I think a new job is in order where im not working for the gov............................so whats going on in my life at the moment well i've just moved into my new house with my parents and its pretty cool apart from certain rooms in the house totally finished (like mine) and others arent and its like i open my door on my room which is normal looking onto a building site.................. very bizzare, however my room does now have a nice comphy big chair in it.
these really are some demented ramblings going on in here...............
so........ well im looking forwards to this weekend at least i get to hang with my freak homeys and chill then maybe do some of the usual crazy stuff later, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
anyhow more when i think of some stuff to say

So,
what am i upto, im sat here at my desk using the new firewall to update my journal, hmmmmmmmmm
anyhow so im back in warrington for the week, so watching loads of TV and internet access only via work, i have to ask the landlady about a DSL line see if she will let me get one, i damm well hope so, hmmmmmmmmmmmm i am very bored, ive been awake since 4 am and i've got another hour left today,
soooooooooo.... curry from sainsburys for my din dins, then some pop and nice stuff probably a 3 hour nap, then wake up watch some more TV.....
probably have some phone calls from Was and help sort some company stuff out for him............

Yes, i am your new god and you shall worship me 24/7, 365, for i have fixed the fiendish "WINFAP-FEH" software that no others could, not even their lame ass development team who when presented with a problem with their software said "rebuild the pc", i explained to them that i was installing it on a freshly built pc to try to solve the problem that was happening on all the instalations of it, however they were deaf to this, stupid ass developers.
this i dont understand, there was a problem with a version of a dll that was the route of the troubles, their software required a 2 year old version of mfc42.dll however our netware client requires a newer version of this, and since the application is delivered by NAL the netware version of the dll takes priority.
in the end, i found out that the program was setting a flag in the .ini file for it that was causing it to crash everytime it loaded, all due to this .dll? what the fuck is that about so the solution after a shit load of smacking my head against the desk with no help from the developers is to write protect the fucking .ini file, and its fine, well at least its solved and in the king of the universe, however the developers said if you find out whats causing the problem, can you let us know?

on a much lighter note, i popped into Toys-R-Us today, and they had the proper Qui-Gon and Darth Maul lightsabre toys really discounted, Both of them were ?9.99 each which is a lot cheaper than the old ?39.99 price of the darth maul light sabre, so this badboy here now has a couple of lightsabres, anyone want to feel my force :)

So, see this old woman above, looks a nice old lady doesnt she?
Her name is Ethel Skinner, she's a character in a TV Series we have here called Eastenders,
Ethel was very ill she was ridden with cancer and was begining to loose her mind, she would have lapses and forget who she was, doctors said that very soon she would become completely bedridden, she wouldnt know who she was, she basically would have become a vegatable, ethel was 86 years old , she asked her best and oldest friend Dot to give her tablets that would kill her, and so after many weeks, on what Ethel described as a "perfect day", Ethel was sat in bed, she was sobbing in fear of what was going to happen to her , but not afraid to die, she wanted death, as she didnt want to loose her quality of live, so after much soul searching Dot gave her the tablets and Ethel passed away,
In the weeks before this Dot had been desparing and looking for an idea of what to do, she even asked a minister who told her "Its not upto us to decide when we are brought into this world or when we leave, thats the responsabilty of the Lord".
I am not a religous person myself, but in some ways that maybe holds true, i tried to put myself into Dot's shoes and tried to decide if i had a friend for over 60 years could i put an end to their life, i mean i would feel like a murderer, or would i be? Is it wrong to leave someone suffer , well not even suffer if you dont know whats going on, is it ok to do that to keep someone's dignity/honor, do you loose you dignity if it happens to you, how do you decide?
I really cant decide on this, everyone please post your thoughts................

so what have i been upto today,
well im off to bed in a few mins, but i discovered a great way to drop a mate in some shit today :)
With the use of ask jeeves and internet explorer on a shared computer, at my friends today, i asked a large ammount of suspect questions to jeeves so that IE would cache them and try to autocomplete them when my friends girlfriend used his pc, the questions were such as "where can i hire a prostitute"
i am a real bastard at times :)
